Teaching Assistant

About the Role

Teaching Assistant at a vibrant primary school in the GU35 area of Bordon. The position is full‑time and long‑term, supporting Year 5 pupils and providing targeted SEN support in a dynamic KS2 environment.

• Support the teacher with daily classroom activities in Year 5 and KS2.
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with additional needs.
• Encourage engagement, confidence and independence in learning.
• Adapt to varying needs and abilities in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Work as part of a supportive team committed to pupil progress.

• Experience supporting children in primary education, preferably in Year 5 and KS2.
• Confidence in supporting SEN pupils with a range of needs.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
• Ready to make a real impact in a diverse primary setting.

Hours:

8:15am – 3:45pm, Monday to Friday (30‑minute lunch break).

Pay: £14.25 to £16.65 per hour, paid weekly.

Full‑time, long‑term role with potential for progression.
