TECHNICAL SALES ESTIMATOR**
* Due to business growth we are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business within the manufacturing industry to recruit an office-based Technical Sales Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and detail-oriented individual to join a growing team in a role that blends technical understanding with customer engagement.
As a Technical Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting both new and existing business by preparing accurate and competitive quotations. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to interpret technical requirements, analyse costs, and deliver tailored solutions.
Salary - c.£27K - £28K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Technical Sales Estimator include,

Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to assess manufacturing requirements
Producing detailed costings and quotations for customers
Liaising with customers via telephone and email to understand needs and provide solutions
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals
Identifying opportunities to maximise sales and improve margins
Supporting customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving

The ideal Technical Sales Estimator will need the following,

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (highly advantageous)
Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy
Solid computer skills including Excel essential, bonus points for any experience using SAP Business One
Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
A proactive, conscientious, organised approach with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver high-quality service
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle essential - free on-site parking
