As the first line of defence on site, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and operational integrity of critical facilities while working as part of a dedicated and supportive security team.

As a Security Guard, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting site patrols and security checks
• Monitoring CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
• Controlling access for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Undertaking vehicle, baggage, and personnel searches
• Performing escort duties across the site
• Issuing and managing site keys and security equipment
• Recording incidents and maintaining accurate documentation
• Completing security reports and logs
• Liaising with emergency services and external agencies when required
• Supporting ongoing security training and development initiatives

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Valid UK passport
• Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good administration and record-keeping abilities
• Basic Microsoft Office skills

This position requires successful completion of:

• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
• Security Check (SC) clearance
• Occupational Health screening

Candidates must be able to satisfy UK Government security vetting requirements, including checks relating to identity, employment history, nationality, criminal record, and financial circumstances.
