Job Overview
First impressions matter. As a Receptionist you play a pivotal role in setting the tone for every interaction at Barnet Lane Clinic in Borehamwood. You will greet and assist staff, visitors, and service users while coordinating the office diary, handling telephone calls, emails and post, and ensuring safety and security through visitor sign‑ins, security checks, and key distribution. This is a full‑time position of 37.5 hours a week located at Barnet Lane, Elstree, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 3QU

- Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring proper sign‑in.
- Maintaining the reception area and ensuring meeting rooms are presentable.
- Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
- Ensuring confidentiality and security of the service.
- Receiving and handling telephone calls, emails and post.
- Performing ad‑hoc administration tasks and ensuring brochures are displayed.
- Managing deliveries.

- Computer skills and proficiency with office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, confident, diplomatic and welcoming.
- GCSE English Language Grade C or above.
- Efficient, enthusiastic, self‑motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Aware of confidentiality and security protocols.
