The company is a leading refurbishment contractor and is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its dynamic team in Verwood. Specialising in high-quality refurbishment projects across the residential, healthcare, education , and commercial sectors, they offer a unique opportunity to be part of a company that prides itself on delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately estimate the cost of refurbishment projects, including materials, labour, and overheads. Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotations and negotiate prices. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and ensure that estimates are within budgetary constraints. Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals. Provide support to the project management team throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and materials to ensure the best value is achieved for each project. Skills and Experience

Required:

Proven experience as an Estimator within the refurbishment industry (residential, healthcare, education, or commercial sectors). Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and materials. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. A relevant qualification in construction, surveying, or a related field would be advantageous.
