Quantity Surveyor - Specialist Contractor

Working Pattern:
Full-time, Office-Based (5 Days per Week)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist joinery and carpentry contractor based in Borehamwood. This role offers genuine ownership across the full commercial lifecycle of projects, from early cost planning through to final account. You will take responsibility for managing project costs, ensuring robust financial control, and supporting the successful delivery of multiple live schemes.
You will work closely with operational and site teams in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and commercial awareness are key. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants hands-on involvement and real influence over project performance within a supportive structure.

What They're Looking For- 3–4 years' Quantity Surveying experience within a construction environment
- Strong experience in cost control and cost management
- Ability to prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Experience in cost planning and cost reporting
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in relevant cost management software
- Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)
- Competitive salary (based on experience)
