We are seeking a Professor in Accounting & Finance to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required.

As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Global Banking School, you will deliver management related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment of students and keep up to date with latest developments.

• Planning, delivering and assessing student work ensuring learning outcomes are met
• Developing, updating and improving course materials
• Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
• Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties
• Keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices
• Working towards clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
• Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
• Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
• Accurate reporting and maintaining thorough student records
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people

• Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years or Fellowship of HEA or international equivalent
• Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent
