Autism Support Teaching Assistant Borehamwood
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Start Date: ASAP / February 2026
Contract: Temporary, with potential for long-term
Pay: From £85 per day (depending on experience)
Supply Desk is recruiting an Autism Support TA to work with a child in Borehamwood, providing individualised support and helping them access the curriculum in a mainstream or specialist setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver tailored one-to-one support
- Assist with social and emotional development
- Support behavioural strategies and positive engagement
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom
- Experience working with children with autism
- Patient, empathetic, and organised
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to supporting children s learning and development
- Daily rates from £85
- Flexible working patterns
