Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Temporary, with potential for long-term
Salary: £34,398 £ 52,490
A nurturing school in Borehamwood is looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team. You will deliver inspiring lessons, support pupils literacy development, and foster a love of reading and writing.
Your Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across all year groups
- Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Inspire pupils to enjoy reading, writing, and communication
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in primary/secondary schools
- Creative, adaptable, and energetic approach
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Passionate about promoting literacy and language skills
