If so, join us as the Learning and Development Portfolio Lead to take ownership of Elysium Healthcare’s organisation-wide learning curriculum and content portfolio.

As the Learning and Development Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for owning, governing, and continually enhancing the organisation-wide curriculum and associated learning content. This role ensures that Elysium Healthcare has a high-quality, accurate, up-to-date and consistently applied portfolio of learning materials that meet statutory and regulatory requirements, reflect Elysium’s values and care principles, and support a skilled, competent, and compassionate workforce.

Acting as the custodian of the learning portfolio, you will ensure strong version control, accessible and standardised content, and a disciplined approach to curriculum development.

You will collaborate with clinical and subject matter experts, trainers, and Regional Learning and Development Partners to ensure all learning materials are validated, relevant, evidence-based, inclusive, digitally accessible, and aligned to Elysium’s strategic priorities.

This is a hybrid role, with occasional travel to the office/Elysium sites as required.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Own and govern Elysium Healthcare’s organisation-wide learning curriculum and portfolio, ensuring it is current, clinically accurate, compliant, and aligned to statutory, regulatory, and professional standards
  • Maintain strong curriculum governance, including quality assurance, structure, version control, approvals, archiving, and audit readiness
  • Lead the Learning Forum, bringing together key stakeholders to prioritise learning needs, and project manage the development of learning solutions through to launch, supported by subject matter experts.
  • Ensure learning content is standardised, accessible, digitally optimised, and consistently presented and used across the organisation within the MEL Learning Management System
  • Lead the development, review, prioritisation, and continuous improvement of learning content in collaboration with clinical and subject matter experts
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to mandatory, induction, and priority learning in line with legislative, clinical best-practice, policy, and regulatory change
  • Embed Elysium’s values, including trauma-informed care, dignity, inclusion, and compassion, across all learning materials
  • Work closely with Regional Learning and Development Partners, facilitators, and operational teams to ensure consistent and correct application of the curriculum
  • Maintain a streamlined, high-quality learning portfolio that meets organisational needs and supports effective workforce capability
  • Produce robust reporting and insights on curriculum quality, usage, compliance, gaps, and learning impact, supporting continuous improvement and inspection readiness
  • Drive ongoing improvement of Learning and Development practice through evaluation data, industry insight, and performance analysis

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing Learning and Development portfolios or programmes within a complex organisation.
  • Experience designing and delivering learning content (non-digital).
  • Track record of implementing evaluation frameworks and reporting on learning outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating mandatory and induction training programmes.
  • Strong grasp of adult learning principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads, tasks, and data effectively using Excel.

  • Ability to design and govern learning frameworks, templates, and standards.
  • Skilled in managing curriculum and learning content lifecycle.
  • Up to date with trends in Learning and Development and instructional design.
