Supply Desk, working in partnership with local schools in Borehamwood, is looking to recruit passionate and committed 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants. If you are dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and want to make a meaningful difference in their education, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About You
Are you driven to help pupils with SEN reach their full potential? Whether you have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or additional learning needs — or you are beginning your career in education — we have a variety of roles suited to your skills and ambitions. Requirements
Previous experience in a school support role (desirable but not essential)
Knowledge of SEN strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning needs
Strong communication, interpersonal, and behaviour management skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Flexibility to adapt to different school settings and SEND environments across Borehamwood
