Internal Recruiter – Senior Engineer, Radlett Infrastructure Project

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to lead the engineering discipline on our Radlett Infrastructure and Highways Project. The ideal candidate comes from a construction or civil engineering background, has held a Senior Engineer role, and possesses fluency in FRC and highway schemes.

• Lead the engineering management on both projects, ensuring works are constructed to the contract drawings, specifications, procedures, and plans.
• Manage site and trainee engineers, driving high standards of health, safety, environment, and quality.
• Author and review project design briefs, material approval records (MARs), temporary works designs (TWD), and query tickets (TQs).
• Develop and maintain quality assurance and management processes, including ITPs, QA records, NCRs, and quality handover documentation.
• Provide readiness reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Actively contribute to Galldris’ safety targets and zero‑tolerance safety culture.

• Hands‑on experience with highways and infrastructure works, including reinforced concrete structures and utility diversion works.
• Proficiency in CDM regulations, temporary works, and common civil engineering specifications.
• Commercial awareness and ability to deliver within a cost‑conscious framework.

• Excellent communication, people leadership, and team‑management capabilities.
• Straightforward HSEQ advocacy and leadership.
• Familiarity with Fieldview / Dalux (or similar) BIM web and mobile tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk, or Sketch Up is desirable.

• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers or working towards membership (desirable).
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS certificate.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Technical Witness Certificate (TWC).
