Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Watford)

£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Day/Night shifts available

At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our community-based teams in Watford. You will support young clients with complex health needs, both at school and at home, enabling them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can see the direct impact of the support you provide. Shifts are consistent and predictable, offering you work-life balance and financial stability.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver 1:1 compassionate care in clients’ homes and in the community

• Assist with clinical tasks as per care plan (e.g., nebuliser, cough assist, medication via gastrostomy, oral suction)

• Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing

• Communicate effectively with clinical, care, and coordination teams

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available:

• Day shifts: 07:00-18:00, 08:00-18:00, 10:00-17:00

• Night shifts: 21:00-06:00, 22:00-07:00

• Experience supporting people with complex needs

• Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)

• Empathy, emotional intelligence, and person-centred values

• Ability to work independently and professionally

• Strong communication and reliability
