Supply Chain Planner

Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic client based within the Elstree area. This client are a Global organisation with a newly created department, and have a position for a Supply Chain Planner to join the team. The position will be a key position within the company, managing the flow of products from factory to customers.

The suitable candidate will need to have previous experience within Supply Chain, someone who is a good communicator as this person will be working with various parties including suppliers, customers, internal departments and more.

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 plus good benefits
Monday - Friday - 35 hour working week - fully office based to start, hybrid after probation

Some of the duties will include:

Working with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth delivery process
Liaising with factories globally
Negotiating with factories where necessary to meet customer requirements
Tracking shipments and purchase orders, as well as general administration as required
Analysing supply chain data to identify performance issues
Support continuous improvement across supply chain process
Working between internal and external stakeholders
Creating and maintaining Supply Chain KPI's to Senior Management, including on-time delivery, inventory and any cost related metrics
Implement, updated and maintain supply chain software
The suitable candidate:

Previous experience within supply chain, logistics and inventory management
Strong communication skills on all levels
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Good IT skills including Excel, supply chain software and ERP systems
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
Must be local to the Elstree area
Happy to be initially office based
