Join at a pivotal moment and make a visible impact.
This isn't a seat-warming contract.
A leading Estates & Operations team is strengthening their compliance processes, improving reporting standards, and modernising how a 100,000+ residential leasehold portfolio is managed.
We need an experienced Property Assistant / Block Administrator who can step in, take ownership, and help keep estate operations firmly on track during this busy phase of change.
If you've worked in block management or alongside managing agents, you'll understand the importance of structured compliance tracking, accurate documentation and consistent follow-through. That's exactly where you'll add value.
Why this contract stands out:This isn't inbox-cover. It's visible, meaningful estate operations work.
You'll be stepping into a live operational improvement phase across a 100,000+ residential leasehold portfolio
, where standards are being raised and processes tightened.
Here's what that means for you:
- Real scale exposure. Experience overseeing large national portfolios, not just individual blocks.
- Compliance at asset-management level. See how leasehold estates are governed from the top, not just managed day-to-day.
- Operational improvement involvement. Help strengthen reporting, tighten agent oversight, and close compliance gaps.
- Direct access to decision-makers. Work closely with senior leadership, not layers of middle management.
- High-volume, structured environment. Build resilience, process discipline and portfolio-level thinking.
- Credible CV boost. Add large-scale leasehold and compliance oversight to your experience.
- Stable backing. Part of a £1bn+ asset group, so this is structured, not speculative contract work.
- Potential extension. No guarantees, but strong performance creates options.
If you want a contract where you leave sharper, more commercially aware, and with genuinely stronger portfolio experience, this is it.
What you'll be doing:- Tracking statutory and regulatory compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate leasehold and estate records
- Monitoring complaint processes and ensuring timelines are met
- Preparing and issuing correspondence
- Chasing managing agents for reports and outstanding actions
- Supporting leasehold consents and documentation
- Maintaining workflow trackers and internal KPIs
- Ensuring audit trails are complete and up to date
- Using a bespoke property management system to manage data accurately
- Previous experience as a Property Assistant
, Block Administrator or within Residential Property Management - Experience working for or alongside a Managing Agent
- Strong understanding of leasehold estates and compliance tracking
- Confident managing high volumes of tasks without constant supervision
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook)
Lettings-only experience won't be enough: we're specifically looking for block/estate administration experience.
If you're organised, process-driven and confident managing estate operations in a busy environment, this is a contract where you can genuinely make your mark.
