Business Development & Client Relationship Executive
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent customer service? We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join a growing, customer-focused business in a varied role that combines client engagement, business development, and administration.
Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people skills, a positive attitude, and good IT proficiency who is looking to develop their career.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and lead generation activities
- Contact and onboard new clients
- Research and develop potential prospects using internal systems and other sources
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate discounts where appropriate
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Proactively grow customer accounts and increase ongoing business revenue
- Deliver exceptional account management and customer service
- Ensure client expectations are consistently met and exceeded
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong computer and IT skills
- Well‑organised with good attention to detail
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach
- Flexible, positive, and willing to learn
- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, account management, or a similar client‑facing role would be advantageous
- Salary:
Circa £30,000 DOE plus uncapped commission - Commission paid on customer turnover, with ongoing earning potential from retained accounts
- Significant earning potential for high performers
