Security Officer

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to Join a Small prestigious team providing 24/7 Security coverage at Watford FC Training Ground located within London Colney. You will be working 3 days a week fixed pattern ( Friday - Sunday inclusive ) You must hold an in date SIA license ( Minimum Security Guarding ) and a minimum of 2 years Security experience.

You will need to be comfortable with working in all types of weather as well as having excellent communication skills. Previous experience of CCTV / Sports Arena work will be advantageous. As well as an interest in Football.

• Working as the Site Security Officer
• Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees, and visitors are able to feel safe
• Promote confidence with every customer, colleague, and stakeholder through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy
• Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre, as appropriate
• Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover
• Utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
• Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
• Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and accident/ near miss reporting.
• Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
• Respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly
• Work in collaboration with the customer’s FM team and complete relevant tasks
• Engage with training & development as required

You will need a valid SIA licence for this role
