Borger​/Stinnett Branch Manager

ECU’s Branch Manager creates an environment that is conducive to providing excellent member service while directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch through upholding the mission, vision, and core values of ECU. This position provides leadership for two branches within the market and serves as a key community-facing representative of the Credit Union, balancing branch operations, member experience, team leadership, business development, and market relationship responsibilities.

• Education/Certification
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
• Required knowledge
  • Teller, Member Service and Lending experience. Knowledge of basic word processing, spreadsheet applications and understanding of credit union products and services.
• Experience
  • Two to four years related experience.
  • Two to four years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent communication and public relation skills.
  • Ability to analyze accounts.

  • Well organized.
  • Ability to assist and teach others.
  • Willingness to step up and take ECU’s Branches to the next level.

• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and effectively present information to members, vendors, and employees of the organization.
• Ability to perform basic math skills including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to use and understand current business software applications and able to troubleshoot and repair basic computer problems.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the Branch. (Teller, Member Services & Lending)
  • Ensures Member Experience meets ECU standards.
  • Provides a branch atmosphere that is reflective of a sound and secure financial institution with the ultimate respect for member privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with established organizational policies and with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors branch operations and works with Q&A to ensure accuracy of work being completed daily.
• Effectively coaches Direct Reports, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Coaches and develops direct reports with the skill sets to cross sell ECU products to members that best fulfill their financial needs.
  • Provides regular “One on Ones” with Direct Reports to monitor progress and conducts Performance Evaluations annually.
  • Communicates effectively with Direct Reports about any changes in policies or procedures and certifies their knowledge and understanding of those changes.
