Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to travel, work overtime, nights, and weekends if needed.

Starting at $21.00 an hour

• Performs thorough inspection of truck components.
• Maintains current knowledge of government, industry (FRA & AAR), customer, and company policy, procedures, and work instructions.
• Inspects and ensures workmanship meets government, industry (FRA & AAR), customer, and company quality requirements.
• Proficient in the interpretation of drawings and specification, including weld and nondestructive testing symbols.
• May participate in root‑cause investigations, and corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Complete Daily JSA’s for job to be performed.
• Complete Confined Space Entry Permits or retain copy of Confined Space Permit.
• Create reports to document inspections per customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by Inspection Manager.

• Notify of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks.
• Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies.
• Ensures FRA, AAR and/or ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met.
• Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task.

• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on‑the‑job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
