The Quality Manager plays a key role in leading and improving all quality‑related processes within Samsung SDS’s warehouse and logistics operations.
This role ensures full compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations, while driving continuous improvement across the site. Their role is also to maximize the operational efficiency of logistics resources and enhance customer satisfaction with logistics services by managing the appropriate inventory of the logistics center and establishing a warehousing and shipping plan based on the volume of materials mobilization.
What will you do?
- Own, maintain and continuously improve the site’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Own and further develop the local Document Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate internal audits and support certification and customer audits, ensuring effective follow-up of findings.
- Monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
- Identify opportunities to align QM practices and develop common procedures, standards, tools and best practices across sites.
- Support other sites with QM, ISO certifications and customer-specific quality requirements where relevant.
- Participate in selected European Quality and OPEX projects and initiatives and build relationships with relevant regional stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and initiate quality improvement opportunities and corrective actions, and help drive them from idea through implementation.
- Develop practical standards, tools and ways of working that improve quality and operational performance.
- Challenge and support operational teams to improve quality performance, address root causes and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Born site as a benchmark for QM and certification compliance within Samsung SDS.
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) or higher in Quality Management, Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in Quality Management or Assurance within logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations.
- A solid understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience conducting internal audits and coordinating certification audits.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis.
- The willingness to take ownership, challenge existing ways of working and turn opportunities into concrete results.
- Good communication skills Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Dutch is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the Netherlands and occasionally within Europe.
Work Authorization: A valid work authorization for Netherlands is required for this position. We are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship or support work permit applications.
