Schedule:

Monday – Thursday 10 hours a day (40 hr week). Hours can be flexible; can come in earlier and get off earlier, but must be onsite during core hours (8-5).

Type: 6-month contract to hire w/ client

Pay: $33-43/hr then $64-80k conversion w/ client

Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Systems Engineer at our large government client supporting the Air Force. Here, you’ll tailor cutting‑edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered.
• Required Experience:
  
  2+ years of related experience in Systems Engineering.
• Required Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Red Hat, Linux, and Solaris (a plus).
• Security Clearance Level: Secret.
• Security+ CE certification/DoD 8140 compliant.
• Location:
  
  On site in Bossier City, LA.

• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
• Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
• Provides technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation.
• Oversees moderately complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
• Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
• Conducts system requirements reviews.
• Develops systems architectures.
