• Implement and progress physical therapy interventions as planned and directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and gait training.
• Administer modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation and other therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition, communicating effectively with the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and other aspects of their care.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all patients and staff.

• Associate’s degree from a CAPTE‑accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Louisiana state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• The ability and desire to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development is highly valued.
• New graduates or experienced professionals with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for learning are encouraged to apply.
