Housekeeping Quality Assurance Inspector (Guest Room Inspections)

The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is looking to hire full time Housekeeping Quality Assurance Inspectors. The position is full-time.

Salary: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour. The starting pay is $/hour depending on experience.

• Inspect the quality of clean that housekeeping attendants have achieved after they have completed the cleaning of guest rooms. Inspect guest rooms, corridors, elevators, fitness center, and other guest‑experience areas.
• Evaluate and rate cleaning performance and report results immediately to the Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report room discrepancies related to maintenance problems to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to customer needs, special requests, and requests for service and assistance.
• Assist with preventative cleaning programs as assigned.
• Uphold organizational values, treat people with respect, keep commitments, and maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and stock carts.
• Meet productivity standards and complete work within approved budget and time.
• Observe safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use chemicals and equipment properly.
• Follow key control policies and use assigned keys responsibly.
• Volunteer readily, ask for and offer help, and check with supervisor before leaving.
• Report all lost and found articles, maintenance issues, "Do not Disturb" and "Refuse Services" to supervisor.

• 21 years old or older.
• Knowledge of computers.
• Good command of the English language; bilingual is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of hotel services.
• Professional image and personality exuding confidence and team building skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and follow‑up skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of guest and hotel information.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Work experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or QA Inspector is a positive.
• Hands‑on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations.
• Excellent organizational and communication management skills.
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Six months previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
