Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana seeks a dedicated Banquet Houseperson to support banquet operations in Bossier City.

• Set up event space in a timely and safe fashion according to instructions/details outlined on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floor plans; chairs, tables, linen, displays, etc.
• Refresh meeting rooms during scheduled breaks or upon request.
• Breakdown and clean‑up of event space in a timely and safe fashion.
• Store and organize banquet equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Familiar with various types of room set ups (classroom, rounds, hollow square, etc.).
• Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment, and accommodate last minute changes.
• Flexible work schedule; hours and shifts will vary.

• Education:
  
  A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Two to three years of banquet houseperson experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in an environment exposed to alcohol and smoking.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity, if required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs or more at times.
• Roll at least 10 banquet chairs at a time.
• Physically fit, able to stand/walk/move for extended hours.
