Shift Availability- Tuesday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sunday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

About Bio Life Plasma ServicesEvery day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicine. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.
Role OverviewYou will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist works under the guidance of the Center Manager or Assistant Manager and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. Familiarity with plasma collection regulations or a manufacturing environment is required.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including proper consent, education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions per facility SOPs and follow medical emergency procedures including development of physician standing orders and donor transport.
- Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on unacceptable donor findings or medical/technical guidance.
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is required by occupational health.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support pandemic investigations.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Current licensed or certified in the state of assignment: LPN or LVN.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Completed FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

CompensationUS – LA – Bossier City. U.S. hourly wage range $22.69 – $31.20. Actual wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible for short‑term incentives and standard benefits.
