Responsibilities- Patient Care:
Oversee comprehensive care plans for residents, ensuring high-quality treatment. - Assessment and Monitoring:
Regularly assess residents' health status, monitor changes, and adjust care plans as needed. - Medication Administration:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Supervision:
Lead and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care standards. - Collaboration:
Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care strategies. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and thorough records of care, medications, and residents' conditions. - Education and Support:
Provide guidance and health education to residents and their families.
- Active RN license in the applicable state.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a healthcare team.
- Prior nursing home experience is often preferred.
