Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members’ financial, physical and mental well‑being. Specific benefits—such as day‑one medical coverage, 401(k) matching and annual performance bonus—may vary by position. Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.
Starting at $55,000 annually, based on experience.
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations, including maintaining kitchen equipment such as ovens, freezers, grills and food processors to ensure they are in working order for quality and safety.
- Delegate tasks to Sous Chefs, Specialty Cooks, Prep Cooks and Line Cooks.
- Coordinate with the team during all meal preparation and services.
- Plan food menus as per restaurant guidelines and seasonal availability.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food served to guests.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Oversee menu development, revision, ordering and inventory control.
- Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency for guests.
- Apply cooking techniques such as cutting, dicing, baking, roasting, braising, grilling and skillet/sauté work.
- Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items for banquet events.
- Develop and implement creative menu items for restaurant and banquet events.
- High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of previous high‑volume culinary leadership role and/or culinary degree.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- Strong knowledge of all kitchen operations.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, stoop and move throughout the duration of a shift.
- Excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a often crowded/noisy environment.
