Restaurant Host (Sports & Social) – Bossier City

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is looking for a Restaurant Host to greet guests, manage seating, and ensure a positive dining experience.

• Greeting and welcoming guests.
• Seating guests and assigning wait staff to their sections.
• Answering the phone, greeting customers, and tracking seat availability in the restaurant.
• Assisting wait/bar staff.
• Assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
• Cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have an upbeat, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Must be able to communicate in English fluently and professionally.
• Must be available to work all shifts, including day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a loud, high‑energy 24‑hour work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Education:
  
  A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Experience:
  
  Customer service experience involving direct interaction with customers.
• Candidate will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such an environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while assisting guests.
