Installation Technician, Building Maintenance

We are currently seeking a Shop Technician for our Bossier City, LA location.
PURPOSE:The Accommodations Shop Technician will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing modular living quarters.
ESSENTIALJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the construction of new builds
- Service and repair existing buildings as needed
- Install and/or repair structures and fixtures (metal and wood)
- Install drywall and/or insulation, cabinets, siding, and build frame works
- Lay laminate
- Install flooring and interior base
- Install and adjust doors for proper fit
- Install interior wall panels over metal studs
- Install ceiling grid and tiles
- Install furnishings in the completed buildings
- Cleans and prepares completed buildings such as mopping and waxing floors, wiping of furnishings, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures. Completes records and associated documentation. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.
- May operate heavy machinery if properly certified.

- Ability to communicate and interpret a variety of oral and written instructions

- Relevant experience as a shop technician in the oil and gas industry
- Have a working knowledge of commercial construction techniques and the associated tools
