Software Developer - MID

Overview

Software Developer, on-site in Bossier City, LA. W2 only – no C2C or personal LLCs. 6 months contract to hire. Pay rate: $40 - $45 per hour; conversion pay rate: $75,000 - $85,000. Shift: four 10-hour days per week.

• Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
• Assists with all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Assists with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
• Assists with creating models and diagrams that guide programmers in implementing software
• Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging
• Assists with documenting software or systems for future maintenance and updates

• Required Experience:
  
  BA/BS degree and 2+ years of related Linux experience (additional years may be considered in lieu of degree)
• History of developing applications and troubleshooting issues within the code
• Proficiency in C, C++, and development of scripts
• Experience with compiling code using GCC and Makefiles

  C, C++, Linux, System/Software Design, Git Lab, and Java

  Application Development, Software Development, Problem Solving, understanding network communication
• US Citizenship Required
• CompTIA Security+ – Required within 6 months of hire
• Active Secret clearance or previously held secret clearance with ability to obtain interim clearance; client sponsorship available
