Boston | Up to £35,500 + Excellent Benefits

Full-time Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Permanent.

With over 30 years of success, my client is known for delivering tailored advice and building long-lasting client relationships. They are now seeking a confident and client-focused Bookkeeper to manage a varied portfolio and make a real impact.

The Opportunity

This is not your typical desk-based bookkeeping role. You will be out meeting clients, building relationships, and delivering hands-on support directly at their premises. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being trusted to manage your own workload—this role is for you.

You will:

- - Manage your own portfolio of clients

- Visit client sites to carry out bookkeeping duties

- Perform bank reconciliations and post transactions

- Reconcile sales and purchase ledgers

- Keeping Sage and Xero systems fully up to date

- Handle client queries with professionalism and efficiency

The ideal candidate will:

- - Be AAT Level 3 or above qualified with at least 3 years bookkeeping experience

- Have confidence using Sage and Xero

- Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

- Have a proactive, “can-do” attitude and team-oriented mindset

- Provide excellent client-facing skills with a professional approach

- Experience with agricultural accounts??? That’s a bonus—but not essential
