About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher, who is looking for a long term role, in a Secondary school in the Boston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in May 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.
The school provides a structured and well‑organised environment where learning is at the centre of daily practice. Staff benefit from clear leadership, consistent systems and a shared commitment to pupil success.
Key Skills and Attributes- Deliver high-quality Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4
- Ensure lessons meet National Curriculum and GCSE specification requirements
- Plan and carry out practical experiments safely and effectively
- Promote scientific enquiry, problem solving and critical thinking
- Assess pupil progress and provide clear feedback to support improvement
- Embed literacy, numeracy and exam skills within Science teaching
- Maintain a safe and well‑organised laboratory environment
- Support pupils’ preparation for GCSE Science examinations
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- UK secondary school teaching experience at KS3 and KS4
- Ability to teach Biology Chemistry and Physics
- Confident with practical experiments and lab safety
