The Opportunity:

• Wonderful primary school with a warm, inclusive ethos.
• Based in Boston (Lincolnshire)
• Full-time role from September 2026 - July 2027
• Monday to Friday (Term Time only)
• £500–£530 per week (Term Time only)
• Ideal for graduates seeking classroom experience before teacher training.
• Opportunity to work with pupils from a range of backgrounds and learning needs.

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans.
• Deliver small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Support children with communication and language needs, and those requiring help with self-regulation and routines.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Work with pupils who have English as an Additional Language (EAL) — over 70% of pupils speak more than one language.
• Support children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, demonstrating patience, empathy, and consistency.
• Use positive behaviour strategies and contribute to a calm, supportive classroom atmosphere.

• A degree (2:2 or above) or predicted to graduate in 2026
• Strong written and spoken English, and at least GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and emotional development.
• The ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and the confidence to set clear, consistent boundaries.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on feedback.
• Commitment to the role for the full academic year (until July 2027).
