Part of large accounting team; good role for someone seeking structure and growth potential!

Hybrid schedule (Downtown Boston) -- 2 to 3 days in office each week. 2 to 3 days WFH.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversees team responsible for key financial functions related to revenue and receivables across various business areas.
  • Ensures practices align with revenue recognition guidelines
  • Identifies and addresses issues related to billing and revenue recognition
  • Prepares and reviews reports and financial entries as part of regular accounting cycles.
  • Supports the accurate and timely processing of financial documentation across projects.
  • Acts as a liaison for both internal teams and external partners on matters related to financial operations.
  • Provides guidance and support to staff, focusing on performance, growth, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Tracks team output and communicates insights to leadership.
  • Contributes to team development through coaching and training initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Proven leadership experience, particularly in navigating change and improving team outcomes.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering consistent, high-quality results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and continuous process improvement.
  • Experience leading teams through operational or process changes.
