Parts Advisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join an established and busy team based in Sutterton, Lincolnshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in parts, stores, stock management, retail or customer service who is looking to develop their career within a busy engineering and machinery environment.
You will work closely with the Parts & Retail Manager and play an important role in supporting customers and technicians with parts enquiries, orders and day-to-day requirements.

The Role
Dealing with customer and technician enquiries relating to machinery and vehicle parts.
Serving customers at the front counter, face-to-face and over the telephone.
Processing, picking and dispatching customer orders.
Providing accurate parts information and assisting customers in identifying the correct products.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the parts department and stores.
Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock management.
Organising and maintaining the stores area to ensure parts are easy to locate and readily available.
Assisting with stock movements, deliveries and general stores duties.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in a parts, stores, stock control, retail or customer-facing environment.
Previous experience working within a parts, stores or stock environment.
Strong organisational and stock management skills.
Experience serving customers from a front counter or showroom environment.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
