Job Summary:

A mid-size CPA firm in Boston, is seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage complex tax engagements, provide strategic tax planning, and contribute to the firm's growth.

• Manage diverse tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Review tax returns and other deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members
• Maintain and expand client relationships

• CPA license
• 6+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 2 years at the senior level
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office suite

• Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Experience with international tax issues
• Specialization in a particular industry or tax area (e.g., real estate, high-net-worth individuals)
