This person is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping and compliance with internal policies and GAAP standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and possesses strong communication skills. The role is part of a fast‑paced team that focuses on providing accurate financial information for internal and external use in a timely manner.

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
• Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Help maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Net Suite is a plus
