Senior Accountant

Join our client, a forward-thinking leader in the construction industry, as they seek a dedicated Accounting Manager/Sr. Accountant to play a vital role within their team. Based out of Boston, Massachusetts, this hybrid role offers a dynamic work environment, collaborative team culture, and potential for future growth in a mission-driven organization.

Compensation: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Manage and support a small accounting team
• Help with budgeting and tracking results against budgets
• Assist with improving accounting systems and processes
• Set up accounting procedures for new business activities
• Coordinate billing, collections, and reporting with internal teams
• Support audits and prepare requested documentation
• Create financial reports and help answer management questions

• Several years of accounting experience (public or private)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience using accounting systems; ERP experience preferred
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other standard tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus
