Firm located in Boston is looking for an experienced A/P Accountant to join the team, Contract to Hire. This professional will need to have 5 plus years of experience in Accounts Payable and strong attention to detail.

• Code, Match, and Batch invoices for payment
• Perform check runs and ACH payments
• Process detailed invoices and expenses to the proper accounts
• Obtain approvals and signatures
• Research discrepancies between invoices and POs
• Communicate with vendors and internal management to reconcile issues
• Review all allocated expenses are hitting the correct accounts and reconcile A/P at month end

• A bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred; will look at a professional with strong years of experience in A/P
• Five plus years of experience in A/P with a proven track record of success
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent system skills, including Excel
• Ability to work in a quasi-manual A/P environment
