Roessel Joy has partnered with an established Law Firm on a new Senior Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working hands‑on within the GL, experience working in a law firm or professional services setting, and strong Excel skills.

Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Daily cash monitoring and updating payment AP calendar.
- Vendor management and ensure contracts and payments are up to date.
- Prepare journal entries and support month‑end‑close.
- Prepare all month‑end reconciliations.
- Review and prepare GL entries on a weekly basis.
- Support payroll team and ensure all proper postings.
- Prepare tax filings.
- Assist in budgeting & forecasting.
- Train and mentor staff.
- Ad hoc projects.
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of Accounting experience.
- Hands on experience within the GL.
- Payroll and tax experience.
- Proactive and organized.
