KBW Financial has partnered with a global life sciences company to identify a Technical Accounting Manager. This role will lead technical accounting and GAAP matters and support the global organization. This is a hybrid remote role requiring 3 days per week in office.

• Perform periodic technical accounting and GAAP assessments as necessary
• Support business and finance partners to conduct accounting research and determine the appropriate accounting treatment
• Draft technical accounting memos to support accounting conclusions on complex issues
• Implement and maintain the company’s accounting policies and oversee compliance
• Work with external auditors on conclusions and documentation of complex accounting issues
• Assessment and implementation of new accounting standards
• Prepare training materials on new or existing accounting standards for training
• Responsible for performing internal controls / SOX over technical accounting matters

• 5+ years straight public accounting or public accounting / industry combo with strong GAAP and public company experience
• Experience with technical accounting / GAAP and supporting SEC reporting
• Public company experience including SOX
• CPA or in process required

Compensation: $125k - $150k Base + Bonus
