PTC is seeking a Revenue Accounting Director to join our Global Revenue Assurance organization. Reporting to the VP of Global Revenue Assurance, this role combines technical revenue accounting expertise with cross‑functional partnership to support the company’s continued growth and evolution. This is an opportunity for an experienced revenue accounting professional to play a meaningful role in shaping revenue processes, influencing business decisions, and helping scale a global software organization.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of revenue recognition within a SaaS or software environment, strong business acumen, and a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges. You will work closely with teams across Finance, GTM, Commercial Desk, Legal, Product, Revenue Operations, and Systems to ensure revenue accounting considerations are effectively integrated into business initiatives while maintaining compliance with ASC 606.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue recognition matters, providing guidance on complex and non‑routine transactions.
• Support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of revenue accounting policies, controls, and procedures in compliance with ASC
  606.
• Draft technical accounting memos, position papers, and analyses related to revenue recognition matters.
• Review and assess the accounting implications of new product offerings, pricing models, commercial arrangements, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Commercial Desk, Legal, Product, FP&A, and Revenue Operations teams to evaluate revenue recognition considerations associated with new deals and business initiatives.
• Translate technical accounting requirements into practical business guidance that supports informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle to ensure revenue implications are identified early and addressed proactively.
• Partner with Finance Systems, IT, and Revenue Operations teams to improve automation, efficiency, and scalability across revenue accounting processes.
