Associate, F&A Accounting

Ares Management is looking for an Associate to join their Registered Secondaries Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support the accounting and financial reporting for investment companies focused on private equity secondaries. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting while also participating in process improvements and special projects.

• Support the monthly NAV process and fund reporting
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closes and reconciliations
• Track cash and investment activity for private equity investments
• Analyze financial statements and support investment activity recording
• Prepare regulatory reporting for registered funds
• Coordinate with internal teams and fund administrators

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting or related fields
• Experience with private equity or alternative investments is a plus
• Familiarity with US GAAP investment company accounting is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
