- Location:
Boston MA 02108 (Back Bay) - Work Arrangement:
Hybrid 2 days onsite 3 days remote - Pay Range: $120,000 to $130,000 base with 20% bonus target

- Own the monthly close for assigned debt fund portfolios and deliver accurate financial statements on deadline
- Review and oversee accounting for debt investments including bonds loans warehouses and securitizations
- Lead a small team including coordination with offshore resources and ensure quality of work product
- Manage the external audit process and respond to audit requests throughout the year Manage the external audit process and respond to audit requests throughout the year
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls supporting financial reporting and compliance
- Partner with portfolio management to support reporting packages forecasts and ad hoc requests
- Support investor reporting activities including capital calls distributions and capital account statements as needed
- 5+ plus years of progressive accounting experience
- Real estate industry accounting exposure or audit management within real estate is ideal
- Experience with fund accounting and general ledger including reconciliations and consolidations
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- CPA or CPA eligible
- Real estate investment or fund reporting experience
- Public accounting audit background at Senior or Manager level
- Exposure to debt investments and related accounting concepts
