As the first point of contact for people when they reach out to WBUR, the receptionist is responsible for answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and responding emails with a friendly demeanor and a focus on being as helpful as possible. This position is part-time and in-person, on a 12 PM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday schedule. Reports to the Operations Manager.

• Manage reception desk operations on a day-to-day basis. Respond to and forward calls, maintain station email inboxes, provide guest access to building and parking garage and some administrative tasks.
• Maintain fresh coffee, clean, and organize breakroom. Operate and maintain kitchen supplies and equipment including dishwasher, coffee machine, range, and other equipment.
• Receive and distribute packages and mail as they are delivered to or picked up from WBUR's studio.

• 1-3 years of experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and familiarity with office equipment.

Schedule:

12 PM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Salary:
Hiring range $18.00 – $28.00 per hour. The salary of the finalist will be set based on factors including budgets, qualifications, experience, etc.
