About the OrganizationThe Executive Office of Economic Development, in partnership with the Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD), leads the state’s business outreach efforts to attract, support, and help strengthen all types of businesses that make up the ever-evolving business sector in the Commonwealth. Aboutthe Role
The Center for Employee Ownership Administrator will support the CEO on daily operations including, but not limited to:
- EO Advisory board meeting preparation and minutes, and posting/notification of all Advisory Board and committee meetings.
- Collateral development such as success stories and educational material.
- Webinar support including scheduling, technology, RSVP management, promotion, and follow‑up.
- Support Massachusetts Employee‑Owned Campaign.
- Assist with implementation and support of the Employee Ownership Ambassador Program.
- Support the implementation of the Stipend Program.
- Mailing database maintenance.
- Coordinate with EOED & Gov's communications regarding events MassCEO is attending.
- Other duties as required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with marketing/communications, public policy, and program management is preferred.
- Experience working with multiple constituencies, including government agencies, citizen and community advocacy groups, private sector businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
- Strong computer skills in standard productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Interest and some experience with innovative technology and economic development tools is an asset. Canva experience is a plus.
- Strong interactive and relationship‑building skills with an ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from government officials, the public, and various external stakeholders.
