Our client, a real estate investment and management firm, is seeking an Office Coordinator on a potential contract‑to‑hire basis to provide front desk administrative support for their busy Boston office. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of corporate office experience with daily upkeep of the office and be able to handle day‑to‑day administrative duties upon request. The candidate must be professional, reliable, confident, motivated, have a sense of urgency, be a self‑starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

Contract Compensation: $28‑$29 per hour* (rate listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.)

Applicants must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Boston, MA to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Meet, greet and assist office visitors in a warm and professional manner
  • Assist with scheduling and office events
  • Scan, file, and copy documents as requested
  • Manage relationships with outside catering and vendors
  • Handle, sort and deliver daily mail
  • Manage overall office maintenance including upkeep of cleanliness, organization, and stock of supplies
  • Assist with any project related duties as requested

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of administrative experience in a similar role
  • Must be motivated, professional, and have excellent communication skills
  • Friendly and personable with a positive attitude
  • Strong multi‑tasking skills
  • Tactful and adaptable, able to take direction and follow instructions
  • Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
