Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Virtual Assistant/ Remote Admin
Our client, a real estate investment and management firm, is seeking an Office Coordinator on a potential contract‑to‑hire basis to provide front desk administrative support for their busy Boston office. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of corporate office experience with daily upkeep of the office and be able to handle day‑to‑day administrative duties upon request. The candidate must be professional, reliable, confident, motivated, have a sense of urgency, be a self‑starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.
Contract Compensation: $28‑$29 per hour* (rate listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.)
Applicants must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Boston, MA to be eligible for this position.
Responsibilities
- Meet, greet and assist office visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Assist with scheduling and office events
- Scan, file, and copy documents as requested
- Manage relationships with outside catering and vendors
- Handle, sort and deliver daily mail
- Manage overall office maintenance including upkeep of cleanliness, organization, and stock of supplies
- Assist with any project related duties as requested
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative experience in a similar role
- Must be motivated, professional, and have excellent communication skills
- Friendly and personable with a positive attitude
- Strong multi‑tasking skills
- Tactful and adaptable, able to take direction and follow instructions
- Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
