A Service Specialist – Facilities provides administrative support services to clients, including office moves, conference room setups, and miscellaneous facilities‑related tasks.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Performs office‑related duties including office moves, replicating appearance in new location, setting up new offices with supplies, ensuring all equipment is functional, and office is presentable; handling departures, removing files, packaging personal items, and preparing the office for next occupant.
- Sets up conference rooms and meets special client requirements, ensuring tables are clean, lighting/shading is functional, and the room is presentable.
- Performs facilities‑related duties such as picture hanging, small furniture setup, and infrequent assembly of small furniture.
- Sets up audio‑visual equipment for meetings, troubleshoots minor issues, and works with client IT on escalations.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of work experience in a customer‑service field.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
- Ability to lift or carry items on a standard wheeled cart with a 75‑lb load capacity.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for extended periods.
- Audio‑visual experience in an office environment; prior experience with Creston or Cisco consoles preferred but not required.
- Strong technical acumen.
- Scheduled hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with ability to work additional hours for client needs.
The compensation range for this role is $21.57 to $27.00 per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
