Job Description

Temporary Program Support Specialist - The Lynch School of Education and Human Development

Position Details: 20 hours per week with graduate assistant support available

Hiring Range: $23–$25/hour. Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented candidate to support the day‑to‑day operations of the Professional Development and Urban Outreach offices. The successful candidate will be a vital manager in admissions processing, enrollment tracking, commencement activities, and managing programmatic logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support/Manage admissions processing activities, including application tracking, data entry, and file maintenance
  • Maintain accurate enrollment records and assist with reporting and data reconciliation
  • Coordinate logistical support for program activities, events, and commencement‑related initiatives
  • Assist with scheduling, communications, and preparation of program materials
  • Serve as an administrative point of contact for students, staff, and internal partners
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support program operations and shared goals
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with enrollment tracking, data management, or student information system (preferred)
  • Experience supporting events, commencements, orientations, or program logistics (preferred)
  • Prior experience in higher education, student services, admissions, or program administration (preferred)
  • High proficiency with standard office technology and systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CRMs)
