Overview

The Gallagher National Risk Control Team is now the Gallagher Claims and Risk Consulting Team, equipped with experts, processes and solutions to help clients meet the evolving nature of risk.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Acts as an advocate for complex clients, providing assistance and coverage advice as well as monitoring large and complex claims, and documenting all pertinent activity related to the claim.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Consulting with clients and brokers on claims and coverage issues.
    • Facilitating and attending client meetings and claims reviews; negotiating changes in reserves for a positive client outcome as appropriate by line of coverage.
    • Providing status reports to clients as required by any applicable service plan, reviewing action plans and reserves with consideration for client costs.
    • Actively researching and obtaining claims information from clients and carriers, and communicating timely and accurately with all interested parties.
    • Reviewing all new problematic or complex claims on designated clients and formulating a plan of action to achieve a favorable claim resolution.
About You

Required
:
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience; 5 years’ related experience in Safety, Risk, or Insurance. Ability to obtain appropriate licenses in all states where business is conducted. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Moderate travel required, including some overnight travel; ability to travel by car and aircraft and work outside normal business hours as required.

Preferred
:
Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
